Space Cadet patch notes - August 14, 2020
Gameplay
- Black holes will now randomly appear inside the sector.
- Black holes pull everything into them.
- A black hole's center damages the player ship and destroys enemy ships and asteroids.
- Enemy fighter bullets can no longer move past asteroids.
- Limited the number of asteroids in the sector to 50.
- Limited the number of enemy ships in the sector to 40.
- Increased the damage interval outside the sector bounds from 1 second to 1.25 seconds.
- Altered the mass values of various objects in the game.
General Updates
- Added particles around the edge of stations while Power-Ups are active.
- Asteroids now spawn with a random starting rotation.
- Added a sound effect for when you try to fix a station but don't have enough fixes or no stations require fixing.
- Changed the sound effect played when a Power-Up appears to come from its location.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed an issue where two Power-Ups could appear at the same time when two enemy ships collide.
Known Bugs
- After the player ship is destroyed, the shield cooldown animation is sometimes played in a loop.
